with just some quick arithmetic

I know I’ll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality

When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three

As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer

We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands

Our square root signs become unglued

So two posts ago my title was iEquation. However, WordPress would not allow this. It is true that the word may be grammatically incorrect, but what if I like it that way? What if my words only made sense to the common public if they were grammatically incorrect? Have you heard of the word “jargon” WordPress? If I want to spell iPhone please don’t change it to IPhone. Even then, the word is grammatically incorrect. Two Capitals put together? Im sure that makes complete sense. -Rolls eyes- That makes as much sense as IE (Internet Explorer), which makes no sense. I mean if people had any sense they would know not to use Internet Explorer. It is neither fast, user friendly, or function filled. Therefore, it can be concluded that Internet Explorer does not make sense. Once again WordPress, I’d like to put my lower case letters where I want, when I want.

“The first phone to beat the iPhone… Introducing the new iPhone 3g.” – iPhone 3g commercial

So a few weeks ago i went on a rumor site and discovered that the new iPhone 3g would be released. I thought it would be extremely (consistently) expensive considering that it was an iPhone with an upgrade. The moment Mr. Jobs went on the stage of WWDC 08 I was stunned. The new iPhone 3g was priced at only $199! How unbelievable is that?! Considering that I already had a phone, buying and iPod Touch might be a possibility, maybe the price will drop with the iPhone. I waited for one week, then two, then three. No signs of an iPod Touch price drop. I searched on rumor sites and store pages, but there were no hints or anything regarding this product. Are the marketing people not thinking clearly? No offense to Apple (I adore Apple products, Mac fanboy right here) but what are they thinking?

Lets look at this logically.

iPhone – iPod Touch = Camera + Phone.

$199(iPhone) – $299(iPod Touch) = -$100.

This is where it gets illogical. That’s like me waltzing into the nearest electronics store and grabbing a 2MP camera and the cheapest phone they have. I then walk to the cashier and they give me $100. Hmmmm, is this an error? I understand that the iPod Touch is insignificantly slimmer, maybe thats what makes all the difference. Seriously though, when has 4mm thinner mean an additional $100 dollars, camera and a phone. You may say that it is similar to the marketing of the Macbook Air. Now don’t get me started on the Macbook Air.

New Blog-scented Goodness

Who said only cars have a “new” smell? New blogs have a scent of their own as well. No, it is not the smell of my laptop overheating, nor is it the cheesy goodness that lay on my desk known as Cheetos.

Mmmm… Cheetos. Why is there a cheetah on my bag? I’m trying to enjoy my cheesies and here they are trying to scare me. Is this some type of health/marketing campaign where they put a cheetah so the consumer is more scared of the cheetah than the negative health effects? Of course, I don’t see how this helps marketing. Isn’t this just counter-productive? This would just keep consumers away from Tony the tiger or Chester Cheetah. And what’s with the name Chester Cheetah? I can understand why they use Tony the tiger, because Tony is a tough name like Tony Soprano or Fat Tony from The Simpsons. But why would they use Chester? The only Chesters I can think of at the top of my head are cities or Chester McBadbat from Fairly Odd Parents. This just makes it even worse; they can’t even scare people properly. Seriously, if they wanted people to buy or stay away their products, they should consider using more friendly characters. Right now, they just get consumers confused with whether or not they should be afraid.

Now that I’m done, it is evident that I tend to talk about random things. I might branch off from subjects, or I might just put random things on this blog such as poems I’ve written or other crazy random hoopla. Nonetheless, enjoy, relax, and realize the simple reality.
